... I must be dreaming a wonderful dream ...

Yes, again!

  • Dec. 8th, 2006 at 12:31 PM

It's that time of the year again... It seems that life cycle of one layout or colour theme is two months.
Some Serif was pretty, no doubt, but it doesn't fit to what I see from window, or to my new user picture. (Notice the hands? Remember the last fairy? There's certain similarity...)

So, in case you want to know the colours I see mostly, when it's not pitch black, just look at my new scheme... length of day is 6 hours, 2 minutes in this part of Finland... (And northernmost parts of Finland have no daylight at this moment.)

And now, I should get my ass off from this chair and head to Helsinki to do some shopping.

Blog re-do

It seems to me that in about every two months I have to change outlook of my blog, and here we go again.

Btw, my first name comes from Samí word for forest... yes, I'm Forest Fairy by name so that picture is more than suitable - and I chose it before realizing thing behind the name.

Yes, I should be sleeping, but I came to pay my rent as I realized that I've got more money today. It's bit cumbersome to get money twice per month after you've used to get money only once a month. For some reason it seems to be more difficult to handle. Nowadays it feels that I don't have any money, ever.

On the other hand one reason why it seems that I don't afford anything nowadays is my allergy. My monthly grocery bill is ~60 euros higher than it used to be when I was still allergy-free (at least I was able to keep my expenses low when I was vegetarian).

Outlook.

My blog's look has changed again, and so has my default pic. I can't help it, but my current pic is quite suitable for someone with this nickname.

Good night.

I finished backstitches of scissor fob and I've to say that I am pleased with it. It's simple, but very stylish art nouveau flower (Lily I think, but I don't know flowers very well), and that antique lavender linen is just perfect fabric for it.

Darned, it's hard to be this good.

Journal pic.

Changed my default pic. For once I have a pic where I'm almost as cute as I'm IRL so why not use it? (Yes, I have quite good self-esteem, in case I sound egoistic to some.)

Looks.

Awkward transitions, part 69. Even these two things were in my mind when I begun to write this entry, so in fact it's not awkward transition... anyway: looks.

In this case Sonnenschein's looks.
It's just bit sad that he's worrying about his physical appearance and will I eventually accept it or not. Ok, he's not the lightest guy on Earth, but so what? First of all, he's quite sturdy naturally (which explains quite a lot). And second... I'm not best individual to judge anyone's physical apprearance, as I'm not the slimmest one on Earth.

Silly thing in this is that Sonnenschein is physically quite close to my 'ideal man': short (as 'short' as man about my height (~167-169cm) is...) and sturdy.

Yes, I confess that I've soft spot for men with broad backs and reasonable muscles. (And on the other hand I dislike bodybuilders.)
It may have to do with my own frame. As I'm not petite nor weak I prefer males who don't look physically inferior next to me, and who I can hug without crushing them.

In fact it's bit odd that he's not worried about that part in him which might be more meaningful to some: he is losing his hair during time. It's in his genes and it's happening all the time.
Well, they say that intellect and hair can't live in same head, so he should be happy. And anyway, he's those ones who'd look good completely shaven.

In the end only thing which matters anything is his smile, and it's cute enough to keep me thrilled (at least) next twenty years.

Username.

In case someone's wondering where Snowprincipessa comes from I can tell.

When we 'met' with Sonnenschein he used to call me Snow Queen... And if I recall correctly, it was taken when I was thinking of my blogger name, so I twisted it a bit. This is why I'm something as girly as snowprincipessa.

Good news.

I participated in a sachet exchange - have never participated any exchanges nor done sachets - and now my 'secret pal' has received her sachet. And she liked it. I feel so good.

This is how it looks like (with my lousy cam):

Not to mention that gorgeous sachet I received (Thanks Liz.):

.

Metallics and purple, filled with little bag of charms (As far as I know it's not possible to even get charms from here.).

Allergy.

I just can't believe that my mom, who has asthma, haven't got the idea that allergy can kill. She seemed to be unable to understand that I really have to avoid most things if I want to stay away from hospital/ graveyard.
Even I've mentioned that last week it wasn't very far fetched. And just because there were some corn in air of my kitchen.

Sonnenschein.

He'll be in a trip until next Monday. Once again I'm counting days to get him back, even it's only to get him back online. Have to see how blue I'll be in the end of the week.

Hopefully things begin to happen after he comes back, otherwise...

Though I miss him. Glanzing at his pic all the time, and daydreaming...

Avatar.

Changed my user pic. Even I have problems to believe that my eyes aren't brown. Those would look good on me.

Slightly nutty.

Very happy. Moderately odd. Bibliophile, Angel, Demoness, geekette, cross stitch designer (part-time), common-law wife surfing in an intercultural, -religious, -ethnic etc. relationship, retail slave (full-time), HSP, QA etc. wishing there was more hours in a day and hoping that some day she will learn how to be coherent...

Welcome to prove my evergrowing insanity.
