Wednesday, 19th of June, 2013 1:50 am - Cowboy R and the Not-Off Day

It's Tuesday night, and I'm not off from work. The girl who would normally be working this shift is going to a class on the software we use for doing criminal background checks, and didn't feel like working sixteen hours today. I can completely understand that, so I'm here, working yet another six-day week. Hopefull the last for a while. The money's nice, but nicer is having two days off in a row.

My car is definately burning oil. I really need to replace it. Of course, having spent a portion of my savings on getting my bed off the floor, I'm not immediately ready to make a down payment. It'll probably be at least another month before I can. And really, part of my reluctance to do so is a reluctance to shoulder new financial burdens, but... I can't go on driving the old car for that much longer, and I guess it's time to be a grown-up about it.

Ah, well. It's another work week, and this coming week I should have two days off in a row. Maybe that'll be enough to help start recharging my batteries.
