SAT epilogue

The goal is met!

The colours remind me of Mexico, for some odd reason.
At first I wasn't quite sure do I like the floss choice, but now that the first part is stitched I am very pleased with my choice. It's good in many ways, one of them being having two completely different colour schemes of the same design.

And... I managed to add some stitches to Loy Krathong after several months!
This is how it looked when I started, this is how it looks now:

Varmaan olen kommentoinut ihan sekaisin suomeksi ja englanniksi tänne taas :) Joka tapauksessa, kauniin värinen lanka tuo on! Tässä kuussa haluan ehdottomasti pistellä tuota omaanikin, se toinen osakin on niin nätti, että sen kimppuun pitää päästä!

Njuu, innokkaimmat pistelijät ovat saaneet kakkososankin pisteltyä jo aikapäiviä sitten, minä vasta aloitin. :D

The Spanish Mystery Sampler is beautiful!
Very ambitious to stitch it twice, but at least you know what to expect. :)

Congrats on the finish!

Is Loy Krathong from Pinn? How are those charts? I keep loving them but I haven't picked up any yet.

Yup, Loy is from PINN (I bought all the PINN charts I could find when I was in Thailand). The charts are clear, though their disadvantage is that they are with colour symbols which can be pain in the butt for someone who takes working copies as they may use same symbol in different colours and then you have to consult the original design to be able to deduce the colour.

Otherwise they are lovely to use - and I really recommend buying charts as I have heard that the patterns in their kits don't have floss numbers i.e. you can't reuse them unless you have leftover floss.

Oh, thanks for the warning. I don't usually reuse charts, but I'd rather have the option. And, I get less antsy about the floss if I know I can just buy more. :)

Your MSAL piece looks lovely in that choice of overdyed floss against the black fabric. It seems like you have taken to black fabric now, eh? Is that my fault? LOL. Loy is looking really lovely; I like that design.

No, it's not your fault. :D
I fell in love with this black linen when I stitched "Bumblehearts" and now I don't seem to get enough of it. :P

And thanks. :)

Slightly nutty.

Very happy. Moderately odd. Bibliophile, Demoness, geekette, cross stitch designer (part-time), common-law wife surfing in an intercultural, -religious, -ethnic etc. relationship, retail slave (full-time), HSP etc.

An Angel.
